Covid-19 Policy

As the world comes to terms with an unprecedented health risk in COVID-19 (Coronavirus), I would like to reach out to all my clients. There is understandably heightened concern everywhere, and I would like to assure you that I will continue to work in a safe manner, in line with government advice.

Understandably, as events unfold, schedules are changing, therefore I’m being as flexible as possible with bookings.

Covid-19 Health & Safety Policy

This examines risks and mitigation to make everyone aware of the issues working around Coronavirus.

In order to minimise the risk of spreading or contracting the Coronavirus, whilst photographing INTERIORS I will;

  • No hand shaking and to avoid all personal contact
  • I ask people not to touch the camera, or any of the equipment
  • Client to make arrangements for the property to be unlocked by another prior to arrival. Doors (Front and rear) folding doors or others if applicable. Balcony or rooftop doors etc.
  • Decontaminate all Photographic equipment prior to the shoot using disinfectant wipes (Cameras, lenses, lights and any other devices/equipment).
  • Request confirmation from you (The Client) that the house/ apartment I am photographing will have been cleaned prior to my arrival - to ensure that the environment is sanitised and as safe as possible to work in.
  • Entry to the property:  A) Wash or sanitize hands prior to entry to the property.  B) Adorn P.P.E and freshly laundered clothing prior to entry, and ensure any other people present, also have correct PPE in place before entry (protective face covering and disposable - non permeable gloves).
  • Place any personal items and additional equipment in a ‘single safe area’ (area must be suitable for wiping down with disinfectant wipes by Snapz Photographic Services after packing up and before leaving the property).
  • Carry and use hand cleansing gel frequently during the course of the shoot (if gloves need to be removed for any reason).
  • Shoot - observe strict 2m distance ruling if that is not possible then a minimum of 1m must be adhered to.
  • At finish decontaminate all surface etc where possible. Decontaminate tripod/equipment before bagging. Dispose of gloves, wipes and masks into sealed bags.

If in the event of a client or myself contracting Coronavirus I will -

  • Contact everyone I have been in close proximity with and use track and trace
  • Stop work and self-isolate immediately same as if any symptoms appear
  • Report Covid-19 incidents to HSE via RIDDOR

This will be updated as and when the UK Governments guidance change.

On positive note, with the longer daylight hours, it’s the perfect time to think about photography projects.

I hope you all stay safe and I look forward to working with you.
